In this role, you’ll transform complex data into actionable insights that power critical decisions across manufacturing, operations, and digital factory initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to efficiency, innovation, and performance in a highly advanced aerospace environment.What You’ll Do Day-to-DayYou’ll sit at the intersection of data, technology, and business strategy—translating information into impact:Collaborate with business leaders and end-users to gather and document detailed requirements Analyze, extract, and deliver data to support reporting and decision-making Design and develop business intelligence tools, reports, and dashboards Translate business needs into reporting specifications, including inputs, logic, and outputs Interface with enterprise systems and databases (EDW, BW, and others) to ensure seamless data flow Monitor reporting systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement recovery processes Create user documentation, including guides and operating procedures Support end-users with day-to-day reporting tools and ensure proper utilization Develop test scripts and validate system performance against business requirements Partner with IT teams and vendors to ensure solutions are delivered as designed Stay current on emerging data technologies and recommend improvements Contribute to web-based tools, SharePoint resources, and internal knowledge systems Required QualificationsWhat You Bring to the TableBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis/reporting tools Experience with databases, data extraction techniques, and reporting systems Strong understanding of how data supports business functions such as Operations, Procurement, Quality, Materials, or Finance Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Preferred QualificationsExperience with BI and reporting tools such as BOBJ, SQL, Cognos, or similar platforms Knowledge of relational and dimensional data models, table joins, and database design Familiarity with Lean principles and systems integration in manufacturing environments Experience developing creative data solutions within aerospace or industrial settings Exposure to enterprise platforms such as SharePoint or SmarTeam Understanding of digital factory initiatives and cross-functional collaboration Why This Role MattersIn aerospace, every decision counts—and data drives those decisions.
