This role is critical in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Coordination\n\nAssist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.\n\nCoordinate pre‑construction activities including permitting, utility coordination, and preliminary submittals.\n\nParticipate in project planning meetings with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.\n\nTrack project milestones and critical path items to ensure timely completion of all phases.\n\nDocument Control & Communication\n\nMaintain and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, transmittals, meeting minutes, drawing logs, and specifications.\n\nDistribute and track construction drawings and revisions ensuring the field team has the latest documents.\n\nDraft, issue, and track RFIs to clarify design details and resolve conflicts.\n\nLog, review, and follow up on submittals to ensure timely approval and material procurement.\n\nAssist in the solicitation, evaluation, and selection of subcontractors and suppliers.\n\nCoordinate subcontractor schedules and activities to ensure alignment with project timelines.\n\nTrack delivery and installation of long‑lead items and specialty equipment.\n\nMonitor subcontractor compliance with contract scope, safety procedures, and quality standards.\n\nCost Management\n\nSupport the preparation of budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders.\n\nTrack quantities, labor, materials, and equipment costs.\n\nAssist with change management including preparing pricing requests and negotiating with subcontractors and clients.\n\nHelp process and track subcontractor and supplier invoices and pay applications.\n\nQuality Control & Safety\n\nConduct site inspections to verify work is installed per plans, specifications, and code requirements.\n\nDocument and track deficiencies, punch list items, and corrective actions.\n\nSupport the implementation of the project‑specific QA/QC plan.\n\nEnsure safety policies are followed by maintaining up‑to‑date logs and coordinating with the safety team.\n\nClient & Stakeholder Relations\n\nMaintain professional relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and inspectors.\n\nAttend owner/architect/contractor (OAC) meetings and contribute to project updates.\n\nCommunicate progress updates, project risks, and concerns effectively to project stakeholders.\n\nProject Closeout\n\nAssist in the preparation of final documentation including as‑builts, warranties, and O&M manuals.\n\nCoordinate final inspections, punch list completion, and project turnover activities.\n\nEnsure all deliverables are submitted and accepted before project closeout.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum 4‑year degree in an accredited construction related program or equivalent; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nFamiliarity with construction documents, processes, and project lifecycle.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and email; and must have the capability of becoming proficient with various programs and applications related to the work such as Smart Sheet, Procore, Building Connected, and other project management software.\n\nOSHA 30, or ability to acquire, is required.\n\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\n\nAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\n\nWhy Join Sevan?\n\nLive Our Values: Join a company that values integrity, respect, teamwork, excellence, and charity.
