Prod.\r\nWork hands-on with Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, workflows, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, MLflow, secrets, access controls, and deployment patterns.\r\nImprove platform reliability, security, performance, cost, monitoring, and operational efficiency.\r\nCreate reusable automation, Terraform modules, runbooks, release processes, and operating standards.\r\nTroubleshoot platform, Databricks, AWS, CI/CD, access, pipeline, and deployment issues.\r\nWork with data science, data engineering, DevOps, cloud, security, and product teams.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\n7–10 years of experience in platform operations, cloud engineering, DevOps, MLOps, or data platform support.\r\nStrong hands-on experience with Databricks on AWS.\r\nStrong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.\r\nGood understanding of AWS services such as IAM, S3, VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, KMS, Secrets Manager, Lambda/Glue.\r\nExperience managing Dev, QA, Stage, and Production environments.\r\nStrong understanding of CI/CD, release management, deployment automation, rollback, and production support.\r\nGood understanding of MLOps concepts such as ML pipelines, model registry, model promotion, and production monitoring.\r\nStrong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\r\nMust be able to work independently in ambiguous and changing environments.\r\nOther Qualifications\r\nDatabricks Asset Bundles, Databricks CLI, dbx, or similar deployment tools.\r\nAirflow, AWS Step Functions, or Databricks Workflows.\r\nUnity Catalog governance, data quality, lineage, and access-control experience.\r\nObservability tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.\r\nDocker, Kubernetes, or EKS.\r\nAWS SageMaker, Bedrock, GenAI, RAG, vector search, or LLM workload experience.\r\nDatabricks/AWS cost optimization and FinOps exposure.\r\nWorking Environment\r\nThis is a hands-on Platform Ops Architect role based in Plano, TX, requiring three days per week in office. The role involves working with platform engineering, data science, data engineering, DevOps, cloud, security, and product teams.
