Safety Specialist - Aggregates
This position is responsible for the assistance in administering safety documentation for the corporate safety and environmental team.
Key Responsibilities:
OSHA 300 and 301 completion, tracking and distribution
Updates and maintains SDS documentation for direct or electronic distribution and availability
Ensures distribution of updates of all safety policies, alerts and procedural changes to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
Aids in the procurement and distribution of PPE to management personnel for distribution to end users, as needed
Departmental file organization and maintenance, particularly with regard to training data input
Tracking of environmental and plant permitting in cooperation with the environmental management staff
A minimum of five years experience as an administrative assistant
Safety administrative background is strongly preferred
Experienced in the use of Google G-Suite products
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ethical commitment to maintaining confidentiality of records
Spanish speaking or bilingual a plus
