The manager of learning experience design and development leads the strategy related to learning experience design and development in support of core disciplines, leadership and client and partners. This includes key initiatives, corporate objectives as well as departmental objectives.This position will elevate learning to serve as a differentiator in the marketplace as well as a driver for attracting and retaining top talent. This role manages the extensive project portfolio by leading the assessment of learning needs in collaboration with academy and business stakeholders and recommends associated learning solutions.Schedule & LocationThis is a full time office based position in Norwood, MA.Relocation Support Domestic relocation support may be considered based on company criteria and leadership approval.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for executing on and supporting the Academy strategy for all three functional areas (pillars) and Learning Experience Design strategy by directing the analysis, design, development and implementation of learning and development for all functional areas of the Academy.By being a key strategic partner and advocator for learning, collaborate with Academy and business stakeholders to qualify requirements for learning and development, ensuring that an effective learning solution will be appropriate to meet specific requirements. This includes recommending other non-learning solutionsManage team resource capacity to support prioritized strategic efforts with the ability to pivot as business needs requireDevelop strategic relationships with key stakeholders to understand performance needsExplores and approves innovative techniques, tools, responsible AI use, that maximizes learning experiencesDrives continuous improvement throughout all learning programsCreate an environment that encourages, empowers and fosters the development of staff by providing challenging assignments and appropriate level of instruction/feedbackCoordinate and foster teamwork throughout the AcademyEnsure quality, consistent and centralized learning assets across AcademyManages vendor selection and implementation of external content providersQualificationsRequired EducationBachelors DegreeInstructional Design, Performance Consulting, CPTD, Business Management or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredRequired Work ExperienceManaging or leading a team, remote team engagement, ADDIE, active learning methodologies including in-person and virtual, program design and curriculum development for programs that span several monthsProject Management, performance consulting and business partnershipLeadership development at all levels of leadershipAssessment and evaluation of learning tied to business results and impactExperience working with senior executives and business leaders at all levelsRequired SkillsExpert in all phases of instructional design with an agile mindset – Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and EvaluateExperience with latest development tools including Captivate, Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond (GoAnimate)Very strong leadership, consulting, negotiation and moderator skillsHighly motivated and passionate about learning and development as a differentiatorAbility to interact at all levels of the organizationVery strong project management, planning and organizing skills with ability to perform with simultaneous initiatives and a degree of ambiguityStrong personal accountability, decision quality, change agent, customer focus and growth mindsetStrong collaboration and teamwork with diverse colleagues in a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary and global environmentExcellent communication and facilitation skills with ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiencesAbility to work with a high performing team in a fast-paced, complex environment with minimum supervision and aggressive timelinesThe final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
