The manager will be responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers and World Oil Corp. divisions, ensuring smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. Along with managing containerized dispatch and oversight of driver scheduling.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:\n\nEnsures compliance and timeliness with all activities within the warehouse.\nEnsures compliance with statutory, regulatory requirements, and company policy by working with the Safety and Environmental Compliance Departments.\nPlans, coordinates, trains, motivates, and evaluates warehouse and receiving employees' performance, ensuring their safe operation of material handling equipment.\nMaintains an equipment structure suitable for the safe transport and storage of materials, researching appropriate equipment to ensure performance, safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.\nMonitors the unloading of materials into the receiving department, ensuring accurate receiving reports and resolving any discrepancies.\nOversee material supply to maintain consistent inventory\nSafeguarding all parts washer solution container filling operations and container-to-truck product transfer.\nOversee containerized dispatching; collaborates with drivers to ensure delivery of routes and modifications of routes as needed.\nSupervise the driver’s workforce and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations.\n Responds to common inquiries or complaints from customers.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\n\nThe job plans and schedules the work of others.\nThe job provides training and instruction to others.\nThe job provides discipline and performance counseling.\n\nThe job assigns work activities to others.\nThe job sets goals and objectives for others.\nThis role supervises the following positions: Warehouse Technicians, Containerized drivers, administrator.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nAssociate of Arts (AA) or Bachelor’s (BA) degree in business, transportation or related field.\n\n2-4 years of experience work experience in operations, inventory control, transportation, manifesting, hazardous materials, routing, and DOT regulations.\n\nCalifornia Pay Transparency Notice: Posted pay ranges are provided in accordance with California pay transparency requirements and reflect the Company's current anticipated compensation for the position at the time of posting.
