With each step we take to improve our products and service, our customers take another step toward more active lifestyles.\nFirmware Intern Summary\nSummer/School Year Engineering Intern will work onsite in Plano, TX during the school year for up to 25 hours per week. As a Firmware Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects that enhance our products and services. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in firmware development, testing, and debugging. The intern will meet regularly with their coach to define daily tasks and reporting.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in the design, development, and testing of firmware for embedded systems.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware requirements and specifications.\nParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.\nDebug and troubleshoot firmware issues to ensure optimal performance.\nDocument firmware development processes and maintain accurate records.\nStay updated with industry trends and advancements in firmware technology.\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.\nStrong understanding of embedded systems and firmware development.\nProficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.\nFamiliarity with debugging tools and techniques.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nStrong communication and documentation skills.\n\nInogen assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $21.19 and $23.37 hourly.
