If you are someone who works hard and likes to have fun while working, please apply!Responsibilities and DutiesSet up and operate extrusion machines according to production specifications.Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and consistency.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with the machinery.Follow all safety, conduct and attendance rules.Follow assigned work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.Accurately enter information into production systems.Inspect materials, products, and/or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operations conform to production or processing standards.Consistently follow specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures.Ensure your work area is in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.Qualifications and SkillsHigh school graduate with minimum of 1 yr direct industrial experience is preferred.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to efficiently multi-task..Must be a team-player.Must be self-motivated.Must be detail-oriented.Physical DemandsRequired to talk, hear, stand and walk.Required to stand on your feet to work for several hours at a time.Required to correctly & safely lift, move, sort, place & carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.Required to use hands and fingers, to handle or feel, grasp, reach, lift, push and pull.Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.Who We ArePelican Wire is a part of Wire Experts Group, Inc.
