{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"21476c185326914afc03789b","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/21476c185326914afc03789b","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/21476c185326914afc03789b","title":"Compounding Operator, 3rd shift","description":"Job Title:\nCompounding Operator, 3rd shift\nSummary:\nTo safely and efficiently perform compound mixing utilizing mechanical equipment to mix and mill High Consistency and Liquid Silicone Rubber to desired customer specifications.\nResponsibilities Include:\nEnsure that all safety equipment is readily available and that all guards are in place.\nRead batch cards for directions, such as proper amounts, temperature controls, weights and sequences of raw materials, and any other additional instructions.\nSafely operate multiple types of mixers, mills and press out equipment and other related equipment when required.\nMaintain work area in clean and orderly manner, especially during shift transition.\nMaintain written production records of batches mixed.\nLearn and understand basic customer requirements and the equipment and materials used in extrusion, mixing, milling, packaging, and finishing.\nReceive and relay vital communications with co-workers concerning daily production strategies.\nAs directed, carry out any other tasks of equal or less difficulty.\nStarting pay is $22.80 + $2 Shift Premium with increases at 90 days, 180 days and 1 year.\nQualifications:\nThe following are required for the role\nMust have HS Diploma or GED\nMust be able to pass respirator fit test\nMust be able to sustain appropriate grooming daily for wearing respirator\nMust be able to read/write/speak English\nPreferred\nPrior computer and scanner experience\nWhat We Offer:\nThe base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
