Benefits Leave Specialist – Austin, TXPay: $33.65 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMAdecco is hiring a Benefits Leave Specialist in Austin. This role is responsible for administering leave of absence programs and ADA accommodations while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.The Benefits Leave Specialist will manage and administer all aspects of employee leaves, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, transitional duty programs, and return-to-work processes. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and works closely with HR and operational teams to ensure compliance and smooth leave experience.Serve as the primary contact for employees requesting leave, providing guidance on rights, responsibilities, and processesReview and process FMLA and leave requests, ensuring complete and accurate documentationDetermine eligibility for leave in accordance with FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state/local regulationsCoordinate with employees, supervisors, and HR to ensure timely processing of leave requestsMaintain accurate and confidential employee leave recordsTrack leave usage and ensure compliance with regulations and company policiesDevelop and update policies and procedures related to leave and accommodationsProvide training to managers and employees on leave programs and complianceStay current on legal updates and recommend process improvementsPartner with external vendors, healthcare providers, and legal teams as neededConduct job site assessments and coordinate workplace accommodationsManage return-to-work processes for employees coming back from leavePerform additional duties as neededHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredStrong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and leave administrationExperience with HRIS systems and leave tracking toolsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsValid driver's license and ability to travel to worksites as neededAbility to work a flexible schedule when requiredPrimarily office-based with extended periods of sitting and computer useMay require walking, bending, or standing periodicallyAbility to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionallyMust be able to manage moderate stress levels effectivelyCompetitive pay at $33.65 per hourStable, full-time scheduleOpportunity to work in a high-impact HR functionGain experience supporting compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
