This role is a great opportunity to join a skilled, supportive teamdedicated to high-quality work and the larger mission of the forestpreserve. The position will maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair,and replace various electrical equipment and serve as a leadtradesperson in a unique setting.**Compensation**\$33.37 to \$37.33 per hour, depending on experience. This position isgoverned by a Collective Bargaining agreement. Experience with VariableFrequency Drives and solar photovoltaic systems is preferred. Thisposition works in a variety of different settings and will requiretravel throughout the district.**Schedule**Schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, some evening and weekendwork may be required.**Key Qualifications** Skilled Trades & Technical Training; 4-6 years of related experienceas a journeyman skill level Electrician; or equivalent combinationof education, training, and experience. Valid Electrical License covering National Electrical Code forresidential, commercial and industrial installations recognized byDuPage County, or ability to obtain such license within 6 months ofhire. Valid Driver\'s License in good standing; Class C Driver\'s Licenserequired within (6) months in good standing. Must pass a medical evaluation and fit test, per OSHA regulations,to ensure a respirator can be safely worn when required.
