The Product Integrity team setups and executes test cases to validation new AC Power products. Products may have a regional scope or a global scope.\r\nThe Test Engineering Technician will setup the unit under test and the instrumentation as per the test plan. They will operate the unit under test and collect data as per the individual test cases. While executing the test cases, the technician will make observations and keep notes regarding the unit under test’s performance. All of the data collected and the technician’s notes are entered into the test results by the technician. The technician participates in daily standup meetings, keeps their work areas clean and safe, and assists with keeping all the test labs clean and safe.\r\nThis position will be based onsite at our Delaware, OH location.\r\nResponsibilitiesFollow safety policies and lead by example with safe job execution.\r\nSetup the unit under test and other equipment which entails connecting large cables (up to 50lbs).\r\nSetup instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power meters, CTs, voltage probes, and other equipment).\r\nExecute test cases, operate unit under test, operate the instrumentation, collect data, and document the results.\r\nTroubleshoot and correct problems with test setups and with units under test.\r\nSuggest continuous improvement opportunities.\r\nRequirementsAssociate of Science majoring in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or military certification achieved.\r\n1 to 3 years of relevant experience.\r\nBroad knowledge of electrical and mechanical test techniques.\r\nExperience with 208/230/480V/600V 3-phase 60/50 Hz wiring and equipment.\r\nExperience with 120v 1-phase 60Hz wiring and equipment.\r\nExperience with instrumentation and low volt wiring.\r\nExperience with electrical safety tools and techniques.\r\nProficient with Microsoft Word and Excel\r\nGeneral mechanical skills assembling and disassembling electrical equipment including but not limited to, high power electronics, large magnetic components, circuit boards, high current wiring etc.\r\nMust have good working knowledge and skills in testing of electrical equipment.\r\nMust be able to read electronic and electrical schematics.\r\nGood troubleshooting skills related to AC and DC power circuits.\r\nBasic experience setting up and using oscilloscopes, power meters for 3 phase measurements.\r\nShift/Schedule flexibility for short periods/projects is a plus\r\nPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDSAbility to lift 50lbs.\r\nAbility to stand and/or walk while performing tasks 70% of the time.\r\nTIME TRAVEL REQUIRED~5%\r\n#LI-RB1The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principles & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\r\nOUR CORE PRINCIPLESSafety.
