Journeyman Acquisition Logistics Manager

OverviewNSI requires a Journeyman Acquisition Logistics Manager to support the Life Cycle Logistics support elements at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK for the E-6B. The role includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, and estimating major complex tasks and directing activities of acquisition and/or operational logistics support/maintenance engineering disciplines. Responsibilities also encompass technical and management support for design, development, testing, production, fielding, sustainment and modification of cost-effective systems to meet readiness and sustainability requirements.ResponsibilitiesProvide acquisition and operational advice to journeyman and junior logisticians.Lead planning, scheduling, coordination, and estimation of major complex tasks.Direct acquisition and operational logistics support and maintenance engineering activities.Support maintenance planning, technical data, manpower personnel, computer resources, supply support, facilities, support equipment, training, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation.QualificationsBachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain and Logistics Management or a related discipline such as Business Management, Management Science, Program Management, Purchasing Management, Procurement/Acquisitions, Contracts Management, or Supply Chain and Logistics Management.Or equivalent experience: six years additional acquisition or operational logistics support/maintenance engineering and project management experience, or an associate degree plus four years additional experience.Experience: 3 to 10 years in Acquisition Logistics Support/Maintenance Engineering, including E-6 aircraft operations or system maintenance in the field.Secret security clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.BenefitsBenefits include medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, short-term disability, paid time off, paid holidays, flexible spending account, employee assistance program, tuition assistance, 401(k) with company match, and a supportive workplace environment.Equal Opportunity StatementNSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
