This role is responsible for translating the designer’s inspiration into accurate patterns that ensure excellent fit, consistency, and manufacturability.The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in garment construction, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Made with love, made to last.role overview and dutiesWork on pattern corrections from Proto through TOP stage (Development through Production) Draft development pattern based on sketch, specs, and block given Attend weekly virtual fittings for designated products Work directly with Design, Product Development and Technical Design teams to understand desired fit & pattern corrections, including phone calls and emails when needed. Make pattern revisions according to fit comments and adjusted specs Provide updated cutters must and screen shots of pattern via email after corrections Maintain accurate pattern files and documentation role qualificationsExperience in denim pattern making Ability to work remotely Strong knowledge of denim construction and standards Strong knowledge of zero shrinkage patterns and applying appropriate shrinkage to patterns Ability to translate fit comments to pattern corrections Ability to communicate and interface with technical design & production team Develop and draft digital patterns using Gerber software Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Strong time management and multitasking skills Strong organizational skills, technical & detail-oriented Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment Dedicated, deadline-driven and self-motivated compensation and benefitsStatus & Compensation: Freelance, hourly ($50-$75 per hour commensurate with experience) Disclaimer: by applying for this position, you are consenting to background checks and employment verification.Equal Opportunity Employer: imogene + willie is an equal opportunity employer.
