Life Science Consulting Manager – Hub Strategy
This is a hybrid role requiring in office work at the Nuvera office in Cedar Knolls, NJ home officeNuvera, now part of Inizio Engage, is a specialized consulting firm in the life sciences, focusing on designing, building, and managing optimal patient and healthcare professional (HCP) treatment experiences for rare diseases and specialty medicines, using data-driven strategies to improve patient access, adherence, and outcomes from early development through post-launch, offering solutions from strategy to operational implementation.Job Purpose/Overview:Bridging the gap between operations and strategy, Nuvera helps our clients design, build, and manage seamless support experiences to simplify the complex when it comes to starting and staying on therapy. The Manager role will lead the strategy and delivery of client projects while also contributing to business development goals which will help us continue to lead in all efforts enhancing the treatment experience.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Lead one or several strategic projects for our clients, working directly with the client’s executive team, managing all aspects of the project & team, facilitating executive workshops and serving as the final quality gate for the project deliverablesProvide project management and successful delivery of project through executive level communications and presentationsCoordinate the Nuvera team assigned to the project and provide individual mentoring and performance reviews associated with their performanceHelp identify, define, and lead the implementation of several Nuvera infrastructure effortsProvide strategy and operational guidance for hub offeringsSupport business development objectives including program design, story development, etc.Understands and develops the requirements for program design inclusive of system, work instructions and process flowsAble to present to leadership to better understand project status, risks and needsRequirements & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher. MBA preferredAt least 8 years in life sciences, including a preference in patient services, Hub design, and/or consulting experience in a management consulting company2+ year experience managing projects focused on finding unique solutions to business problems, providing strategy, performance improvement or optimization recommendations to a client.Examples of projects should include ‘unstructured’ projects without pre-existing methodology where you had to define an approach/develop analytical frameworks. These should be non-IT implementation projectsDeep understanding of Hub services and key aspects such as payer coverage, benefit verification, prior authorizations, and co-pay programsExperience leading teams, formally managing individual performance and mentoringContributed to development of new business pitch decks, presentations to client, and creation of SOW’sExperience managing projects with multiple stakeholder groups and managing cross-functional teamsAbility to travel as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travelProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VisioUnited States Citizenship or valid VISAExperience working in life sciences across several of the following domains:product launch/commercializationproduct strategy and positioningcommercial operationspatient servicesmarket accessproduct access and administrationreimbursement supportadherence solutionshub serviceshealth outcomes strategy & optimizationspecialty pharmacy distributioncustomer insightscommercial model transformationcustomer engagementBase Salary: $150,000The base salary represents the low end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
