Product Marketing Manager, Timepieces
Role OverviewThe Manager, Jewels That Tell Time (encompasses Iconic Timepieces, Repetitive High Jewelry Timepieces and Unique High Jewelry Timepieces) is a strategic category leadership role responsible for driving the long-term growth of the high-end timepieces business.As a regional category owner, they transmit expertise to boutique sales teams, internal corporate partners and selected clients. You will be responsible for executing the Maison’s vision and strategy for the category, as well as adapting the strategy to the specificities of the Americas market while elevating storytelling, client engagement and commercial performance.This role will report to the Senior Timepieces Marketing Manager and based in New York City.Van Cleef & Arpels timepieces provide a unique vision of time, in which savoir-faire and technical prowess combine to bring stories to life. ResponsibilitiesCategory & Business LeadershipAssist with the strategic development and growth of category with responsibility for commercial performance and long-term brand equityPartner with HQ to contribute to global category strategyAnalyze sales performance, client demand and market dynamics and propose recommendations for action/animation plans – monthly reports and ad hoc in-depth studiesProduct Strategy & Launch ExcellenceOrchestrate the successful launch of mew product launches through post-launch performance analysisPrepare internal tools, forecasting inputs, pre-sales management and sales monitoring (daily/weekly) Gather and synthesize qualitative and quantitative feedback to refine future launches and product strategiesStorytelling, Training & Cultural AuthorityTransmit product narratives that connect horological complexity, artistic craftsmanship and Maison heritageCollaborate with Training Department to develop and deploy product training for new hires and boutique teamsElevate product knowledge from technical mastery to emotional and narrative-driven sellingClient Engagement & Retail ExcellenceSupport boutiques in achieving sales objectives through daily sales support, strategic guidance and tailored client presentations.Participate in key client engagements, private appointments and collector events as a product authorityContribute to the animation of The Timepiece ClubCross-Functional Collaboration & CommunicationCollaboration with Communications (Media, PR, VM, Events), Retail, CRM, e-Commerce and Supply Chain to grow awareness around timepieces, allocation strategy and stock movementsCreate internal communications to celebrate successes and continuously elevate the timepiece categoryMaintain accurate product information in internal databasesSupport in the preparation, organization and support of events as neededEnsure transparent, collaborative communication with HQ counterpartsMarket Intelligence & Competitive AnalysisContinuously monitor market trends and timepiece competitionTranslate competitive insights into actionable recommendations for product strategy, launches and client engagementQualificationsBachelor degree is required5-8 Years of experience in marketing or merchandising within the watch industryStrong project Management SkillsExcellent communication and content creation skillsStrong analytical skills, including sales forecasting and performance analysisRetail and client-facing experience is a plusProactive, flexible, innovative, and passionate individualFlexibility to travel as neededProficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with creative tools a plusProficiency in French is a plusSalary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
