The candidate should have a strong background in applied mathematics or engineering. Candidates should have an interest in signal and image processing, control systems, or digital communications. The position is established to work in a team environment to develop technical solutions for our customers in areas such as algorithm development, functional analysis, performance tradeoff studies, prototype development, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.\nPosition Requirements:\nBachelor of science in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or related, master’s degree is a plus\nMinimum 3.25 GPA\nSolid communication, documentation, and collaborative/teamwork skills\nSoftware development skills in Java, C and C++ strongly is desirable\nMatlab and other software-based simulation experience strongly desired\nCalculus I and Calculus II required\nUS citizenship - must have or be eligible for a Department of Defense security clearance\nBlack River Systems is a small, growing employee owned company committed to advancing our employees’ quality of life on the job.
