We are seeking a hands on Maintenance Lead Technician to oversee preventative maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot critical equipment, and help drive operational excellence across our Batavia facility.This is an opportunity for an experienced industrial maintenance professional to step into a role with meaningful impact.We offer a rare 4 day work week, 100% employee premium health coverage, and a company supported 401(k) contribution, creating a strong long term opportunity for the right candidate.Come join us if you are a self starter!Maintain and repair equipment and facilities.Schedule and perform preventative and corrective maintenance for equipment such as presses, conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and PLC-controlled machinery.Responsible for the coordination and recordation of all maintenance/safety related inspections (i.e., smoke detectors, water treatment, temperatures, etc.).Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues; ensure timely and effective resolution.Monitor work orders and assign tasks using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System, if needed.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental guidelines.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify maintenance priorities and reduce downtime.Maintain and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.Maintain proper inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; assist in managing vendor relationships.Participate in capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades as needed.Provide regular reporting and Root Cause Corrective Action on maintenance performance, downtime causes, and project status.Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, or a related field.Experience with PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and automated control systems.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or TPM principles.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Work in hot, cold, noisy, or dusty environments.Occasionally climb ladders or work at heights.Work Environment:Fast-paced manufacturing environment with rotating machinery, heavy equipment, and strict safety protocolsShareShareShareShareemail Share
