CMM Programmer

CPP Industries is looking to bring on an experienced Zeiss CMM Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team in Sacramento, CA. We are a fast-growing aerospace and defense machine shop that takes pride in quality, precision, and a clean organized work environment. We need a skilled CMM professional who knows Zeiss Calypso inside and out and can hit the ground running from day one.This is a full-time direct hire position with overtime available. You will work Monday through Friday on a consistent day shift schedule.Job Duties:Develop and execute CMM measurement programs for new part orders daily using Zeiss Calypso softwareSet up and operate Zeiss Contura CMM equipmentPerform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined componentsReview customer prints and CAD files to determine measurement approachInterpret engineering drawings and GD&T callouts independentlyGenerate and maintain accurate inspection reports and documentationWork directly with machinists and shop leadership to resolve quality findingsIdentify and implement improvements to existing inspection processesCandidate Requirements:Minimum 6 years of CMM programming and inspection experience in a precision CNC job shopExpert level proficiency in Zeiss Calypso software - must be able to build programs from scratch independentlyHands-on experience with Zeiss Contura machines strongly preferredStrong GD&T knowledge working from both 2D prints and 3D CAD modelsAerospace or defense manufacturing background highly valuedAble to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periodsCompensation and Benefits:$45.00 to $55.00 per hour based on experienceKaiser health insurance for employee and dependentsDental and vision fully covered401k retirement planPaid time off and paid holidaysSchedule:Monday through Friday, no weekends6:00 AM to 2:30 PM day shiftOvertime available as neededCPP Industries is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all qualified candidates to apply.
