{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"20ca8a7ed2116e383d60af36","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/20ca8a7ed2116e383d60af36","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/20ca8a7ed2116e383d60af36","title":"Systems Engineer IV","description":"Responsibilities\n\nLead the end-to-end mapping of new technology identification, requirements development, and workflows across all Agency Threat Hunt\n\nIdentify and document inputs, outputs, and dependencies for each phase of new technology insertion.\n\nDeveloping visual diagrams (process flows, swimlanes, dependency maps) to illustrate how proposed changes impacts each section/branch\n\nFacilitating workshops with stakeholders to validate workflows and uncover cross-functional impacts\n\nDelivering actionable visuals and documentation to support strategic planning, compliance, and operational readiness\n\nDocumenting current and define future-State Workflows and Processes\n\nIdentifying inputs, outputs, and key activities for each phase\n\nMapping dependencies between initiatives, systems, and teams\n\nDevelop end-to-end workflow diagrams\n\nCreating swimlane diagrams to show roles and handoffs\n\nValidating diagrams and maps with stakeholders\n\nAnalyzing impact on each subdivision/branch\n\nIdentifying gaps and recommending process/system changes\n\nDelivering final visuals and documentation to leadership\n\nRequired Skills/Clearances\n\nAbility to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability\n\n10+ years of direct relevant experience in systems engineering and architecture development\n\nKnowledge in various IT fields that include but are not limited to systems and networking engineering, technical analytics, threat hunt incident response/ hunt deployment tools, cloud technologies, and databases.\n\nExperience with and technical understanding of cybersecurity attack-mitigation techniques and cybersecurity architectures\n\nExperience with Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) processes and practices, Change Management practices, requirements management, traceability, and associated tools\n\nPossesses or quickly develops a comprehensive understanding of Government Information Security policies, regulations, and guidelines\n\nMust be able to work collaboratively across agencies and physical locations.\n\nKnowledge and experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar lean Agile framework\n\nDevSecOps or DevOps experience\n\nDesired Skills\n\nExperience and/or familiarity with architectural views including operational, technical standards, and system/services views and business, data, applications, and technology architectures using applicable standards (e.g., DODAF, FEAF)\n\nExperience and/or familiarity with software and system lifecycle methodologies, (e.g ISO, CMMI, ITIL, Agile, SAFe)\n\nExperience with requirements management tools (DOORS preferred)\n\nExperience and/or familiarity of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security and privacy controls (NIST 800-37 and NIST 800-53)\n\nRequired Education\nBS Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or related degree;
