This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an accomplished accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can quickly make an impact.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nLead the day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, general ledger, inventory, and fixed assets.\r\nOversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.\r\nPrepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.\r\nEnsure compliance with GAAP, federal and state tax regulations, and sales & use tax requirements.\r\nMaintain and strengthen internal controls while supporting external audits.\r\nOversee customer credit approvals and 1099 reporting.\r\nAnalyze inventory valuation, aging, and margin performance.\r\nLead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while identifying opportunities for process improvements.\r\nPartner with executive leadership to provide financial reporting and strategic business insights.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred .\r\n10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.\r\nStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.\r\nExperience managing audits and working directly with external CPA firms.\r\nQuickBooks experience is required.\r\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\r\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\r\nProven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and manage multiple priorities.\r\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Controller to step into a key leadership role, strengthen financial operations, and provide immediate value to a well-established organization during an interim engagement.
