As a Component REP Engineer, you'll join a collaborative team focused on parts engineering, and reliability. This role offers a two‑year, hands-on experience that builds technical expertise, leadership skills, and cross-functional exposure.\n\nIn addition to a competitive salary, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, and continuous skill development, you'll join a talented, innovative team where your contributions are recognized and rewarded.\n\nWhat this program offers:\n\nThe Rotational Engineering Program (REP) is designed to develop the next generation of technical and business leaders.\n\nYou'll gain:\n\nHands on technical and leadership development\nExposure and work assignments across various engineering groups over the two-year program, based on your skills and business needs.\nOpportunities to collaborate with senior leaders and executive management.\nChallenging assignments that build familiarity with Mercury Systems' practices across the organization.\nThe opportunity to explore individual interest aligned with company objectives.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nPerform component reviews, analysis, and assessment against program compliance requirements for space and military programs.\nCollaborate closely with Electrical Engineers to support the design/development process with component knowledge and selection.\nPerform various component level obsolescence analysis to identify components going end-of-life (EOL) well in advance to ensure continuity of production.\nReview component drawings and associated verification data packages.\nPerform alternate part investigations and generate comparison matrices showing the differences and similarities of the parts\nInterface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers/manufacturers to develop component risk and verification delineation.\nFacilitate component selection and libraries application through the coordination and generation of the program Bill of Material (BOM) in a collaboration toolset\nCreate, revise, and submit NSPARs for customer review and approval supporting component screening and qualification plans.\nDevelop and maintain appropriate reports, databases and PMP meeting agendas and minutes.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering obtained May 2026 and June 2027.\nA minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the application process\nPrior Co-Op or internship experience\nFamiliarity with electrical components and characteristics\nKnowledge of electrical circuit design\nKnowledge of component data sheets\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite\nExperience presenting technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment\nAbility to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or engineering concepts\n\nThis position requires you to be able to obtain a government security clearance.
