This includes but is not limited to control systems for loaders, AWS, Toolcat, compact tractors and excavators. The position will also entail using Bobcat software development processes for coding, modeling, and testing these control systems.\r\nRole & Responsibility\r\nWork with a team of software engineers to design embedded modules\r\nCreate cost-effective ruggedized solutions that can be used across product lines\r\nEngage with suppliers and manufacturing partners to develop technical relationships\r\nImplement functional safety per off-highway standards\r\nGuide team on ambiguous hardware interactions and system integration issues\r\nInvestigate transcending system interactions of hardware and software from operator inputs through outputs affecting vehicle responses\r\nParticipate in development of strategic embedded hardware roadmaps to support enabling technologies for products\r\nWrite technical, functional, and performance specifications\r\nDevise systems involving redundancy, interlocks, and sequencing\r\nDemonstrate precision in both execution and decision-making rationale\r\nFoster a culture of creativity and support diversity of thought, innovation, and excellence within the role\r\nJob Requirement\r\nEducation & Experience:\r\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, or equivalent Engineering discipline\r\n7 years of experience\r\nStrong oral and written communication skills\r\nProficient with test instrumentation and data acquisition such as oscilloscopes\r\nFamiliarity with CAN, J1939, LIN, and 100BASE-T1 communication protocols and physical layers\r\nExperience with controller input and output stages such as in body electronics\r\nKnowledge of internal combustion vehicle systems and related electrical functionality\r\nEV and high-voltage componentry familiarity including inverters, BMS, DC/DC, and chargers\r\nCircuit simulation skills with LTspice, MATLAB Simulink, or similar\r\nAbility to quickly digest semiconductor datasheets\r\nMicrocontroller involvement especially ARM Cortex\r\n10% travel\r\nDoosan is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Individuals with Disabilities and Protected Veterans.
