As a Program Associate in the Climate Corps Fellowship program, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to impactful climate resiliency initiatives with Snohomish County PUD. This is a hybrid position with the expectation of onsite work 1 day per week, with occasional evenings and weekends expected.\r\nIn this role, you'll support Snohomish County PUD's commercial customers with energy management, including organizational and technical projects that contribute to statewide sustainability goals. In addition to hands-on experience, Fellows will receive training through the Building Operator Certification (BOC) program, gaining specialized training in building systems maintenance and energy efficiency. You'll collaborate with the Energy Services department, gaining hands-on experience and making a tangible difference in the sustainability sector. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your professional skills, grow your network, and contribute to Snohomish County PUD's sustainability goals.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nAssist customers in developing and implementing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) plans and Energy Management plans (EMP) as required by the WA Clean Buildings Performance Standard, including items such as developing an employee engagement plan or building a site's internal energy management program.\r\nSupport customers with implementing Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs).\r\nSupport development of Program Health Dashboard.\r\nLead outreach for Clean Buildings Tier 2 customer support.\r\nWhat We Provide\r\nA fixed, monthly stipend of $5,000.\r\n$1,000 end-of-program financial award.\r\nHealth care coverage with 100% of health care insurance premiums covered by SEI.\r\n10 personal days (for a standard 10-month Fellowship), in addition to all holidays off that are observed as closure days by the partner placement site.\r\nComprehensive career-readiness training, including interview prep, salary negotiation, and resume building.\r\nPanels, workshops, and networking with climate resilience industry professionals, including attendance at the NW SEM Fall Workshop.\r\nProfessional networking and learning opportunities.\r\nParticipation in Building Operator Certification series.\r\nGreen Building Practicum training.\r\nThe University of California Climate Stewards Certification equips you to lead community and ecosystem resilience initiatives.\r\nWhat We're Looking For\r\nCoursework, training, or experience in fields related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, data analysis, or building efficiency.\r\nStrong collaboration skills. Interact well with others; ability to find areas of mutual interest and establish and build relationships with others.\r\nBe an organized self-starter and have excellent time management skills; be effective at moving things forward independently without supervision.\r\nHigh attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects.\r\nAbility to format, design, and edit documents and reports in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).\r\nStrong communication skills (writing, correspondence, speaking). Flexible and productive.\r\nAbility to juggle multiple tasks and be productive when working with other team members.\r\nThe ability to work onsite on a hybrid basis.
