Come be a part of this incredible and inclusive team at Invited!\nJob Summary\nThe Greenskeeper is responsible for maintaining the golf course’s turf and landscapes to ensure optimal playability and aesthetic appeal. This role involves performing a range of tasks related to turf management, including mowing, fertilizing, and irrigation, as well as managing landscape areas around the course. The Greenskeeper executes both routine and specialized maintenance procedures to uphold the high standards of the golf course and supports the overall maintenance goals of the club.\n\nReporting Structure\n\nReports to the Equipment Manager or Superintendent\n\nDay to Day\n\nMow greens, fairways, tees, and roughs to maintain proper height and playability.\nApply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to the agronomy plan and safety guidelines.\nWater turf areas as needed, ensuring optimal moisture levels and adjusting irrigation systems as required.\nMonitor turf conditions and identify issues such as pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies, taking corrective actions as needed.\nSafely operate powered equipment, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.\nPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure proper functioning.\nKeep all equipment clean, well-maintained, and stored appropriately.\nMaintain and enhance landscaping around the clubhouse, including flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees.\nTrim and prune trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.\nPrepare soil beds, lay sod, and plant new vegetation as directed.\nKeep all areas of the golf course, including pathways, bunkers, and water hazards, free of debris and in good condition.\nAssist in the construction and maintenance of new features on the golf course, such as greens, tees, and bunkers.\nEnsure that daily tasks and assignments are completed to meet club standards and quality expectations.\n\nAdditional Duties\n\nDue to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.\nFollow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.\nMaintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.\nFollow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.\nTake the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.\nAddress and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.\nAttend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team’s success.\n\nAbout You\nRequired\n\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent.\nPreferred\n\nPrior knowledge in landscape management, greenhouse operations, or groundskeeping maintenance preferred.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nPrimarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.\nSitting, standing, walking, climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs., talking, hearing, and seeing.\n\nPrimary Tools/Equipment\n\nConstruction tools (shovels, axes, sledgehammers, etc.)\nGardening tools (pruners, rakes, hedge shears, trimmers, etc.)\nBlowers\nGrass Mowers\nTractors\nCup Cutter\n\nWork Schedule\n\nAttendance requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule.\nAdditional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays.\nWhat We Offer\nWe believe in taking care of our team, and our Total Rewards package reflects that commitment.
