Assistant Project Managers may have overall bottom‐line responsibility for profit and loss, carry the appropriate authority, and provide technical and engineering support as required by the assigned project. Day in the Life Assist in the total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure the project is built in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between internal and external project members, including General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen. Assist the Project Manager in authorizing and/or approving all project staffing, including the selection of superintendents, general foremen, and foremen. Perform specialized estimating and assist in project estimations. Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests. Assist in implementing and interpreting safety programs and ensure all OSHA requirements are met. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 0–1 year of construction and/or project experience or knowledge of construction methods. Project‐management training, experience, or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle. Strong process orientation, analytical, and mathematical skills. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal and team‐leadership skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maximum quality throughout the project lifecycle. Willingness to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations. Experience with Accubid a plus. Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus. Salary Range $82,800 – $99,400 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
