They service or repair telephone, cable television, internet, and other communications equipment on customers' property; and install communications equipment or communications wiring in buildings.\n\nThis role will provide high-quality service in customer technical spaces including data centers, mobile telephone switch centers, central office wire centers, and designated enterprise spaces.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:\n\nPhysically place, remove, or modify non-working equipment including the following:\nCable trays and/or racking\nData equipment cabinets and frames, data servers, switches, routers, repeaters, bridges, gateways, multiplexers, transceivers, firewalls\nIdentify, label, measure, and physically route the cables that supply AC and/or DC power or transmit data in various technical spaces.\nRead, analyze, and interpret detailed specifications and drawings, blueprints, schematics, and method of procedures (MOPs)\nComplete operations paperwork (e.g., expense reports, timesheets, job documentation, etc.) including daily job status reports as requested.\nWork and assist to complete tasks per direction and oversight of lead installer.\nAct as a customer contact; interface with customers and local supervisors regarding project status\nInteract with all members of the organization including Installation, Engineering, Project Management\nPerform other duties as requested.\n\nSAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nAdhere to, promote, and accept personal responsibility for compliance to:\nFederal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations\nIndustry Consensus Standards\nCircet USA Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual\nParticipate in job site safety/hazard analysis\nQualifications:\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or QUALIFICATIONS\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required, technical or college degree preferred.\nProficient use of Microsoft programs, IOS and/or Android applications\nAbility to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.\nGood mechanical aptitude including usage of basic power tools.\nStrong organization as well as verbal and written communication skills\nDemonstrated problem-solving skills; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.\nAbility to speak effectively before employees of the organization.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.\n\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\n\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
