The individual will foster an environment that enables collaboration between all affected parties including global and local P&E, IT, Ops, R&D and the users and designers of digitization tools or systems to drive digitization throughout the company via machine learning, data analysis/collection, MES/MOM/SCADA support and other innovative technology that eliminates losses while enhancing productivity and efficiencies and international travel is required, approximately 25–35%.\n\nAt this time, Duracell is unable to provide work authorization sponsorship for this position.\nDevelop, sustain, and foster consensus on Industrial Technologies standards encompassing but not limited to dashboard, scoreboard and reporting designs, data collection, storage and retrieval methods, optimized table, view and procedure designs, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive data analysis, and related applications.\nDrive efforts toward an enhanced performance data landscape.\nLead the teams use in high-level programming languages to implement machine communication, perform data analysis, automate tasks, and support the organization as needed.\nBuild capability throughout the sites around existing and emerging industrial technologies.\nDevelop and implement standard solutions for collecting manufacturing/process data for use in predictive modeling to track machine health, product performance, etc.\nPro-actively seek out losses and improvement opportunities throughout the manufacturing plants.\nProvide input from an industrial technologies point of view for the sites priorities and make sure these are understood by the rest of the leadership team.\nLeverage the proper engineering and project management tools and work processes.\nPro-actively scout the external landscape for opportunities and represent Duracell as an attractive innovation partner.\nIn-depth understanding of the sites and all its departments (operations, process & engineering, IT, finance, …) and work systems.\nTechnical understanding of the full technology pyramid and IT.\nAble to translate technical challenges and opportunities for non-technical peers.\nStrong conflict resolution skills thinking across organization boundaries.\nSeeks out knowledge and can quickly grasp technical concepts and grow personal expertise.\nEffectively leads in a team environment including the ability to communicate effectively, to build collaborative relationships, and to contribute to a healthy team culture.\nDisplays excellent written/oral communication skills.\nProvides and receives honest and open feedback in a constructive manner.\nIs analytical; uses sound judgement in decision making by basing decisions on factual information.\nShows personal initiative and drives for results to ensure engineering deliverables meet cost and schedule requirements.\nExhibits high level of integrity and directness/candor.\nMeets deadlines regularly and works well in fast paced environment.\nQuickly adapts to changing environments and business direction.\nFlexible with work location as needed (home, office/plant, travel, etc.)\n\nAt this time, Duracell is unable to provide work authorization sponsorship for this position.\nB.S. in Engineering with preferences for Computer or Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems Management, or Computer Science\n2+ years Controls or Information/Data Management Systems in a production environment preferably in a managerial role.\nPreferred but not required:\nExperience in a Network or IT Engineering position.\nExperience with various ML learning techniques including neural networks, clustering, and classification.\nExperience with automated controls technologies is not required but would be a bonus.
