The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between customer needs and engineering capabilities, providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales and post-sales cycle.Major Areas of ResponsibilityConduct engineering testProduct repairAnswer phone call/Emails from CustomersAnalysis customer’s issue and find out solutions to fix itProvide online training/troubleshooting servicePerform onsite service(Calibration, Troubleshoot, Repair)Write engineering documentsCollect customer feedback and open issues, feedback them to R&D teamSupport throughout the sales and post-salesPrimary ObjectivesThis position is to ensure our customers feel they are well covered by Arbin professionals and keep good relationship between our customers and us.This position also serves as a major source of customer feedback/system issues. Feedback shall be collected, discussed internally and treated.Specific Responsibilities of the JobConduct engineering TestReproduce reported issue/bugVerify new feature/new fixEvaluate system limitation/performance during different scenariosPerform specific tests per customer’s needs.Product repairTroubleshoot productDiagnose defected boardsArbin product circuit analysis and performance improvementComponents solderingAnswer phone call/Emails from CustomersAnswer incoming phone calls/emails, summarize customer’s questions and feedback.Analysis customer’s issue and find out solutions to fix itCollect necessary files/data from customer, analyze the root cause of any issue reported, find out solution to fix it. An issue can be escalated to engineering team.Provide online training/troubleshooting serviceUse phone call or remote access software to expedite troubleshooting process and provide online real time training/instruction.Perform onsite service(Calibration, Troubleshoot, Repair)Perform onsite Service including but not limited to: System set up, System calibration, troubleshooting, customer training.Write engineering documentsInternal documents include but not limited to: Modules assemble/testing instruction Modules troubleshoot procedure Module/Product/Feature Introduction Engineering test report.External documents include but not limited to: Product white paper (technical introduction). Product General Introduction. Product Specification sheet.Collect customer feedback and open issues, feedback them to R&D team.Collect feedback through phone calls, emails and visits. Summarize it for further discussion.Support throughout the sales and post-salesRequired Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesHave basic Electrical Engineering knowledge including component/circuit analysis.Power system/Power Electronics is preferred.Understand analog circuit theory and digital circuit theory.Electronic components soldering (SMT, Through holes)Able to use multimeters, oscilloscope and other common equipment.Ability to read and write technical documents.Travel work will be 25% - 50% when needed.Good communication with others and able to talk before camera.Good learning ability and attitudeAble to handle multiple tasksKnowledge of computer networks is preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Education and ExperienceDegree or equivalent experience: BS or above in Electrical EngineeringYears of experience: 0 or aboveSpecialized training in: Electrical or electronicsOther RequirementsAble to take coast to coast flight, able to drive independently.U.S citizens preferredWork EnvironmentOffice/Lab/Facility/onsite combined
