This role involves providing high-quality care to expectant mothers during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, ensuring adherence to AWHONN guidelines.Responsibilities Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery, including fetal heart monitoring. Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) drips, including titratable medications like Oxytocin and Insulin. Provide patient education and emotional support to families during the childbirth process. Assist in the recovery phase following Cesarean sections and other surgical interventions. Collaborate with the healthcare team including OB/GYNs and anesthesia to ensure optimal care.ScheduleThis position requires 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with alternating weekend shifts and potential varied day/night assignments. Availability for call shifts is also required.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license required. Basic Fetal Monitoring certification is mandatory; Advanced Fetal Monitoring preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
