Job Description Crucial LinkWeld/Machining/Paint Supervisor1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift Availability Needed$22-27/hrThis position will report directly to the Operations Manager. This position will act as the first point of contact for any welding, machining and paint issues.Specific DutiesCoordinate the daily activities of the weld teamsManage employee's attendance and hours workedEvaluate employee performanceUtilize and enforce progressive discipline policy as neededDelegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnelTrain and coach new and current employeesInspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctionsLead all employees in company safety initiatives, foster a safe work environment and enforce/support safety policies and rulesProgram CNC machine toolOperate CNC machine toolOversee production machining ordersUpdating/creating machining procedures and controlled documentsUnderstanding of required PPE (how to select and why it is required)Exhibit proper donning of PPE dailyReport safety hazards to supervision/mgt.Attend monthly all shop meetingsJob RequirementsExperience in Machining and Job Set Up as well as G code and ConversationAbility to maintain production operations through supervising, planning, scheduling, and monitoring labor productivityStrong leadership and coaching skillsAbility to read blueprintsComfort with computers and programs like office and excelStrong communication skillsAbility to problem solve and resolve issuesKnowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniquesPhysical RequirementsThe ability to lift 70 lbs.#talroo #zr
