This is an onsite/office-based position based.\n\nThe Structural Engineer in Training (EIT)’s primary role will include structural analysis and design for facilities supporting new construction and rehabilitations/renovations in collaboration with a team of architects, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers. Duties will include interpretation of building codes and standards, preparation of structural plans and details, and related construction observations for these structural projects. Make an impact in your career, your community, and help build what matters!\n\nWe do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.\n\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nAssist engineers in calculations.\nSupport engineers in code review and research.\nCreating and reviewing sketches of design intent.\nAssist engineers in design and Construction Administration (CA)\nParticipate in meetings and work collaboratively in a variety of work groups.\n\nQualifications\n\nOur ideal candidate will possess:\n\nBachelor’s Degree or Master’s in civil engineering with structural coursework emphasis from an accredited institution.\n0-2 years of experience of structural engineering\nEngineer-in-Training, having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam\nAutoCAD and Revit experience\nRISA, STAAD, SAP, or similar Structural Analysis Software experience\nExperience with review of structural construction drawings\nAbility to read and interpret building codes, and regulations\nExperience with preparing plans, specifications, and design calculations\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work in a team\nMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nCompensation: Salary range is $78,000 - $83,000 annual and depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.
