Our expertise lies in both satellite and terrestrial communications.\nSummary of the role\nThe primary function of the Assembler is to perform mechanical assembly, installation, and wiring of components on a wide variety of equipment designed and built in Bellefonte, PA. While soldering skills are an asset, we are willing to provide training in this area.\nTasks of the role\nRead and interpret engineering/production drawings and schematics.\nInstall, mount, fasten, align, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses to sub-assemblies.\nSolder and assemble various electronic components, wires, and mechanical parts.\nAssemble RF/Microwave electrical products and perform “tester” functions.\nPerform basic electrical troubleshooting using a digital multimeter.\nEnsure quality through inspections of your own work and that of others, in accordance with standards.\nRework products using engineering instructions.\nInstall and wire mechanical components per design.\nClean and maintain work areas.\nWork hours as necessary to support Company demand.\nTrain and assist others as required.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; certification in Electronics or a related field is preferred.\n3 years of experience in assembly, particularly in the installation and wiring of mechanical components.\nStrong mechanical/electrical aptitude.\nSoldering skills are an asset.\nAbility to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.\nExceptional work ethic, a can-do attitude, and a strong team player.\nWilling and able to learn, understand, and support the Company s quality objectives\nAbility to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues\nAbility to work independently with minimal instruction or supervision, and effectively plan, organize, and execute own activities.\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds of material unassisted.\nFlexible and adaptable by nature; able to work well under pressure and within changing environments.\nWilling to cross-train as needed.\nShift available\nDay- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
