PROJECT MANAGER/PROGRAM MANAGER","description":"Position: Full Time Location: Biloxi, MS\nPay Rate: Competitive Salary + Performance Based Bonus\nBenefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, PTO, Life Insurance\n\nApply:\ncareers@mpdesigngroup.us\nPosition Overview:\nMP Design Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex architectural and engineering projects from early planning through construction.\nThis role is ideal for a seasoned project leader with 10+ years of experience on either the design (A/E) or construction (CM/GC) side who understands both how projects are developed and how they are executed in the field.\nThe ideal candidate brings a practical, solutions-oriented mindset and can confidently lead projects, teams, and clients through all phases of delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead projects through all phases including planning, design, and construction\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and trust\nDevelop and manage project design schedules, milestones, and deliverables\nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams including architecture, civil, structural, and MEP engineering\nMonitor project budgets, scope, and fee performance to ensure alignment with contracts and profitability goals\nLead internal coordination meetings and external client/stakeholder meetings\nOversee quality control of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation\nManage permitting, regulatory coordination, and agency approvals\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field\nMinimum of 3 years of experience on the design side of architectural or engineering projects\nStrong understanding of the design and construction process\nProven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams\nExcellent organizational, communication, and time‑management skills\nAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently\nWorking knowledge of common design and project management software\nSupport construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field coordination\nLead the development and coordination of front-end specifications (Divisions 00 & 01), ensuring alignment with project scope, contractual requirements, and overall delivery strategy\nIdentify and proactively manage project risks, scope changes, and schedule impacts\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n10+ years of project management experience on either the A/E or CM/GC side, or a combination of both\nDemonstrated experience delivering projects through design and/or construction phases\nProven ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary teams and projects\nStrong track record managing budgets, schedules, and project risk\nExperience serving as a primary point of contact for clients or stakeholders\nAbility to lead meetings, make decisions, and drive results with minimal oversight\nExperience managing multiple projects concurrently\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working across both A/E and CM/GC environments\nStrong understanding of constructability and coordination between design and field execution\nConstruction administration experience (RFIs, submittals, change orders, field coordination)\nFamiliarity with permitting and regulatory processes\nProfessional certifications such as PMP or CCM; PE or AIA is a plus\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile:\nThe ideal candidate is a seasoned project leader who understands how to take a project from concept through completion.
