Sales Support Specialist
We are looking for a motivated Sales Support Specialist with a packaging engineering background to join our Packaging sales team at our 3 rd party testing laboratory. In this role, you'll be an integral part of our sales operations, providing support to our sales team throughout the entire sales process while ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. You’ll bring strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and great communication and interpersonal skills. We help save lives by providing the highest standards for package, product and material testing.CompensationHourly pay structure with annual earnings in the range of $65,000-$70,000/year (depending on experience) plus eligibility to earn an annual bonus.HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities)As our Sales Support Specialist, you will be supporting / executing sales & marketing department initiatives such as lead generation, lead nurturing, maintaining our CRM client records, triaging prospects and facilitating sales contracts / agreements and other duties as needed to support DDL sales.Execute our REACT campaigns and build relationships with current and past customers to qualify them and promote repeat 3rd party testing services. Generate new 3 rd party testing services leads by identifying and prospecting new accounts through appropriate Life Science industry directories, cold calling and other resources such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn. Identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to most effectively initiate sales processes. Manage, organize and facilitate CDAs, NDAs and MSAs through the sales, operations and legal review process. Work closely with sales & marketing department to determine appropriate campaign follow-up activities. Maintain and utilize CRM and support the entering and updating of quote details in the system as needed Support sales engineers with quote revisions as needed Solicit quotes for outsourced testing from lab companies on DDL’s approved supplier list. Continuously evaluate our records for quality of lead generation / contact information and provide feedback to sales & marketing. Assist with managing, qualifying, nurturing and assigning leads that come in through the website and/or other sales & marketing campaigns. Assist with competitive analysis campaigns and other research as needed.
