The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. The Millwright will play a vital part in ensuring operational continuity, equipment reliability, and safety compliance across our facilities.\n\n*\\*\\*7 12-hr shifts\\*\\**\n\n*Duties*\n\n* Install, align, and assemble machinery and mechanical systems using precision measuring instruments and schematics.\n* Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on complex equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.\n* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electrical blueprint reading.\n* Conduct equipment repairs utilizing welding techniques such as stick welding and precision mechanical adjustments to restore optimal functionality.\n* Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.\n* Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and control circuits to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.\n* Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach machinery during maintenance or installation.\n* Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting procedures for complex repairs.\n* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to electrical diagnostics, hydraulic systems, and mechanical repairs.\n* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with internal teams regarding equipment status and repair timelines.\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n* Proven experience as a Millwright or industrial mechanic within a manufacturing facility environment.\n* Must have a rigging certificate.\n* Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.\n* Proficiency with schematics reading, electrical blueprint interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.\n* Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).\n* Skilled in welding techniques including stick welding; experience with precision measuring instruments is essential.\n* Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; familiarity with HVAC/R systems is a plus.\n* Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking; experience with HVAC systems or technical sales experience is advantageous.\n* Excellent analysis skills combined with strong mechanical knowledge; ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently.\n* Effective communication skills in English; capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\n* Relevant certifications in industrial electrician work or mechanical maintenance are preferred.\n* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.\n\n*CTS offers a comprehensive benefit packet to eligible employees.
