Cook PositionThe Cook supports the Executive Chef in the preparation and production of food for the venue at catered/suite functions. Responsible for set-up, sanitation, cleaning, and closing of workstation area. Employee will work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event-based schedule.This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00 to $19.00.Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until May 1, 2026.ResponsibilitiesAssists with the delivery of food to designated function areas.Supports with cooking (firing of food products, utilizing a variety of equipment: convection oven, fryer, steams, among others).Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items. Food must be fresh and of high quality when served to the guests.Assists with preparation of suite pre-orders, mid-event orders, catering events, and varying concession items.Responsible for portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand.Responsible for cleaning, stocking, and restocking of workstations.Assist with cleaning dishes using the dishwasher and handwashing.Maintains a positive and compliant employee relations climate.Ensures that all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away, and floor is swept and mopped at end of shift.Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.QualificationsPrevious experience or training in food preparation or other related kitchen experience required.Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment.Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends (based on events).Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.Ability to speak, read, and write in English.Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.
