The coordinator will support the Linear and Digital Media Programming teams on the day-to-day scheduling, management and delivery of live events and ESPN Video On Demand content. Key to this role will be live event monitoring during second/third shift, weekends and holidays.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nWorks with Digital Media Programming team’s management to assist in strategic scheduling, quality control and emergency data entry of assigned categories.\n\nEnsuring the daily program plan for live event streaming is accurately scheduled from an operational perspective.\n\nEnsures timely and effective communication of programming information to other departments, platforms and business units as well as to external partners as needed.\n\nMonitoring ESPN+, ESPN Unlimited and Disney+ live event execution.\n\nHandles scheduling and signal acquisitions of all live digital events across platforms including ESPN+, ESPN Unlimited and Disney+.\n\nEnsures commercial formatting is accurate and executable.\n\nHandles the development of conditions/guidelines and coordinates execution with vendors.\n\nCreate shift reports detailing all discrepancies.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBasic knowledge and passion for emerging digital video products and platforms.\n\nMust be able to calmly execute job functions in a demanding environment.\n\nHave exceptional written and oral communication skills.\n\nStrong organizational skills and ability to focus on detail a must.\n\nGeneral knowledge of the sports media industry.\n\nAbility to successfully manage multiple priorities on a daily basis.\n\nMust be willing to work second/third shifts, weekends and holidays.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nMinimum of one year of experience in the media industry.\n\nProficient computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms.\n\nRequired Education\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nPreferred Education\n\nDegree in Communications or related area of study; or equivalent work experience.\n\nThe hiring range for this position in Connecticut is $54,000 to $72,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
