If you have what it takes to do Whatever it Takes, we want to hear from you!\nJob Description\nIn this hands-on role, you’ll contribute to the full lifecycle of custom food processing solutions, including:\nCreating process layouts, equipment designs, and detailed engineering documentation\nDeveloping technical specifications for equipment and installations\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams—from sales and design to production and installation\nTraveling (at company cost) to client facilities across the U.S. (approximately 40% travel)\nEnsuring safety and regulatory compliance with OSHA and USDA standards\nApplying critical thinking and creativity to develop innovative solutions\nRequired Skills & Experience\nB.S. in Biosystems, Agricultural, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)\nProficient in AutoCAD 2020 or similar CAD platforms\nSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skills\nAbility to work independently and in team settings\nComfortable with flexible hours and occasional weekend work\nFamiliarity with OSHA and USDA regulations\nCreative problem-solving mindset and ability to manage projects from concept to completion\nWillingness to travel domestically at our cost (estimated 40% travel)\nBenefit Opportunities\nAt D&F, we believe in supporting the people who do Whatever it Takes to keep us moving forward.
