Public Safety Radio & Tower Infrastructure Consultant - MI

We are seeking a senior Public Safety Radio & Tower Infrastructure Consultant for an upcoming public safety technology consulting opportunity.This role will support advisory, procurement review, vendor bid evaluation, implementation oversight, and technical recommendations related to public safety radio infrastructure, tower systems, interoperability, and emergency communications.Required Experience:5+ years of experience with public safety radio systems, LMR, emergency communications, radio infrastructure, or tower-related projectsExperience with public safety interoperability, MPSCS or similar statewide radio systems, digital paging, and backup communications planningAbility to review vendor bids, technical specifications, implementation plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and cost structuresExperience supporting radio tower advisory, equipment room planning, antenna systems, and point-to-point connectivityAbility to identify technical risks, implementation gaps, and deviations from project requirementsFamiliarity with public safety communications standards, APCO guidance, FCC requirements, and emergency communications best practicesPrior work with county, municipal, regional public safety, dispatch, 9-1-1, or emergency communications projects preferredImportant Conflict Requirement:Candidates must be independent from vendors, manufacturers, or bidders connected to public safety technology procurements. Any vendor relationships from the past three years must be disclosed.
