Join us to play a key role in shaping our financial future and ensuring operational integrity through meticulous bookkeeping and innovative financial oversight.\nDuties\nOversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and balance sheet management\nStrong understanding of medical insurance billing through AdvancedMD\nStrong understanding of grant billing\nPayroll\nManage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining accurate records\nLead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial report writing and analysis for internal stakeholders and external regulators\nEnsure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other regulatory requirements\nPerforming other clerical duties as assigned\nDepositing checks in the bank\nConduct cost accounting analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support organizational growth and operational efficiency\nSupervise the management of accounting systems and software to optimize data accuracy, streamline workflows, and facilitate Excel data analysis\nPerform detailed account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and account reconciliation tasks to uphold financial integrity\nPrepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements\nOversee treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and regulatory reporting\nLead the finance team in technical accounting issues such as non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, or public accounting standards as applicable\nEnsure adherence to internal controls and regulatory compliance accounting standards across all financial operations\nRequirements\nProven experience managing accounting teams within complex organizations; prior leadership roles preferred\nExtensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance standards, and governmental or non-profit accounting practices\nStrong proficiency with financial software systems (QuickBooks desktop), spreadsheets (Excel data analysis), and accounting systems integration\nDemonstrated expertise in financial report writing, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis\nSolid understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation techniques, and general ledger management\nExperience with regulatory compliance accounting including regulatory reporting requirements for public or nonprofit entities\nExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into clear reports for decision-making purposes\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification highly desirable\nJoin us as a Book Keeper/Controller where your expertise will drive our organization’s financial integrity forward!
