The responsibilities include conducting analysis on internal and external salary data, evaluating jobs to determine classification and salary, ensuring compensation practices are in alignment with organization policies and guidelines, and being competitive with the market. Serves as a compensation resource for all team members and leaders. Supports the Total Rewards team by administering different compensation and rewards programs, as needed.\r\nCore Responsibilities Collaborate with department leaders and HR partners to complete job analysis and evaluation on new and revised positions.\r\nDraft, edit, and update job descriptions and evaluate FLSA status and salary grades.\r\nParticipate in salary surveys to benchmark company compensation programs and conduct market pricing using survey sources, scope criteria, and job matches.\r\nAnalyze market practices and recommend adjustments such as pay range changes, merit, and equity adjustments.\r\nCollaborate with HR partners to recommend compensation packages for job offers, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.\r\nProvide guidance to leaders on routine compensation decisions and policy interpretation.\r\nAssist in design and administration of variable compensation programs, including incentive and commission plans.\r\nCollaborate with finance reporting teams on variable compensation accruals, updates, measures, calculations, and results.\r\nMaintain accurate program documentation and manuals for all variable compensation processes.\r\nMonitor effectiveness of existing compensation policies and recommend plan revisions.\r\nAssist in annual salary increase planning and execution.\r\nDevelop communication tools and materials to enhance understanding of total compensation practices.\r\nCreate reports and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to leadership; analyze historical data for insights.\r\nEnsure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing compensation practices.\r\nPreferred Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance or related field; or equivalent education and experience.\r\nMinimum of 3 years of compensation or HR analytics experience, including handling confidential data.\r\nProfessional compensation or HR certifications (SPHR, PHR, CCP) preferred.\r\nKnowledge of FLSA and compensation-related federal, state and local regulations.\r\nKnowledge of general industry compensation practices.\r\nStrong client service focus, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.\r\nStrong analytical skills with ability to make data-based recommendations.\r\nTact, diplomacy and good judgment, especially under pressure.\r\nExcellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management.\r\nQuick learner who thrives in a collaborative team environment.\r\nProven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.\r\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.\r\nReport-writing skills in an HRIS for compensation and analysis.\r\nAbility to gather and process large volumes of data related to compensation programs.\r\nCommitment to ongoing professional development in HR and compensation.\r\nCompensation Base pay range: $84,400–$127,700 USD.
