Summer Camp Counselor

Job Description American Heritage Schools of Palm Beach, Summer Day Camp is currently seeking candidates to fill various positions such as Camp Counselors, Camp Specialists (Art, Science, etc.), Lifeguards, and Coaches for this summer. This is a seasonal position between June 8th, 2026 - August 7th, 2026Benefits:Free day camp for your children.Lunch and snacks are provided.Job Type: SeasonalSchedule:Monday to Friday (daily) June 8th, 2026 - August 7th, 2026 8am-3:30pmDuties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: (depending on position)Ensure campers are safe at all timesMandatory attendance to pre camp trainings (dates to be determined)Make sure all safety rules are followed while still having a fun environmentMay be required to communicate with parents, providing updates where required and answering questions about the campProviding guidance, motivation and support for all campersLead and/or assist in all activities such as arts & crafts, sports, while demonstrating various techniques and encouraging children to come up with ideas and to participateModel good behavior for campers as it relates to sportsmanship, manners, and being respectfulMay be required to swim dailyOther duties may applyExperience/ Qualifications:Able to provide undivided attention to assigned job dutiesPatient and reliableOrganizational and communication skillsA love for childrenEnergetic and positive personalityExperience as Camp Counselor or similar role working with children, preferredFirst aid and CPR-certified preferred (we provide the training)
