Rowley Training Center (JJRTC) in Laurel, MD.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDevelop a project-specific Construction QA Plan for each project, including inspection, testing, reporting procedures, and plans for monitoring corrective actions taken by contractors.\nReview contract deliverables and submittals for conformance and perform daily inspections to verify all work complies with the contract; request correction of any deficiencies.\nPrepare and submit daily written QA reports recording all discussions with contractor QC staff as well as deficiencies — submitted within 48 hours.\nParticipate in pre-construction meetings for each construction work item requiring such by the QA plan.\nMonitor QC inspection and testing activities performed by the contractor.\nSupport work some nights and weekends as project schedule dictates.\nMaintain 2 missed deficiencies per quarter (AQL).\n\nQualifications:\n\n10+ years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience on commercial or Government construction projects.\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\nKnowledge of software including Microsoft Office and construction inspection/reporting platforms, among others.\nAbility to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.\nQualified applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, able to pass a background check, and able to obtain and maintain a PIV card and the required suitability determination (Tier 1 or Tier 4 as required by position designation).\nUSACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification. (Preferred)\nOSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification. (Preferred)\nGovernment contracting experience, particularly with DHS, USSS, USACE, or NAVFAC.
