Soccer Trainer & Coach
High Performance Academy – Indoor Facility (Clovis, CA)
Part-Time | Up to 30 Hours Per Week (Evening and Weekend availability required)
Do you bring energy, passion, and legendary positivity to every training session? High Performance Academy is looking for an Indoor Soccer Trainer & Coach who loves developing youth athletes and believes in creating an unforgettable experience both on and off the field. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-first environment and are dedicated to helping young players grow, we want you on our team.
At HPA, our mission is to empower individuals to unlock their full potential, and we do that by living our core values every day: Integrity. Caring. Driven. Resourceful. Team Player.
What You’ll Do
As an Indoor Soccer Trainer & Coach, you’ll lead private lessons, structured training sessions, and small-group classes for athletes of all skill levels. Every session you run will showcase the heart of HPA: engagement, excellence, and fun.
You’ll get to:
Create age-appropriate and skill-appropriate sessions that inspire confidence and a lifelong love of the game.
Bring high energy, enthusiasm, and a positive coaching style that matches the HPA brand.
Build strong connections with families and players, showing them you truly care about their growth and development.
Adapt training plans based on player needs while promoting teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.
Support camps, special programs, and weekend events throughout the year.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional training environment that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Referee experience is helpful as there may be occasional opportunities to officiate youth or adult league games if needed.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
Passionate about developing young athletes and creating a positive player experience.
A natural motivator who brings legendary energy to every session.
A strong communicator who connects with kids, parents, and teammates.
Driven to provide high-quality coaching with consistency and integrity.
Resourceful and comfortable adapting plans, drills, or solving problems on the fly.
A true team player who contributes to a unified, supportive culture.
Competitive soccer experience is preferred (club, high school varsity, college, semi-pro, or higher).
Your background matters because our athletes look up to their coaches, and we want them learning from someone who has played the game at a high level.
What You Bring
A fun, energetic, and positive attitude that creates a welcoming environment.
Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
Ability to lead training sessions, manage small groups, and maintain player engagement.
Comfort being active for extended periods and assisting with field or equipment setup.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and seasonal program schedules.
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
Why HPA
When you join High Performance Academy, you join a team committed to developing young athletes, supporting families, and creating an uplifting environment where Caring and Team Player aren’t just words, they’re how we show up every day. We invest in our people, encourage ongoing growth, and celebrate small wins that lead to big impact.
If you’re ready to bring your energy, passion, and soccer expertise to a place where you can make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
