Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life.Accountant RequirementsAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesUnderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements Ability to manage assigned projects within prescribed deadlinesAccountant Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial statements for the assigned programsAnalyze financial statements and provide explanations on material fluctuations between actual and budget amountsRecord and reconcile transactions in the general ledgerParticipate on monthly and year end closingParticipate in the preparation of annual budgetMaintain fixed allocation costsManage/bill cost reimbursement contractsPrepare analysis reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trendsParticipate in the UFR preparation, audit and compliance projects, as assignedAssist with state and local agencies filings such as the annual 3ABC formsParticipate in the preparation of the department’s policies and procedures Other duties as deemed necessaryAccountant QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting2 years experienceHealthcare experience preferredNon-for-profit experience preferredState contract management experience preferred
