The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with significant experience in building modular, reusable components and features. They must have extensive, firsthand technical expertise in a modern front-end framework. They must be at ease working in an Agile environment with little supervision. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.\r\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES Build reusable components that align with the system design patterns.\r\nOptimize application for maximum speed and scalability.\r\nParticipate in team design and code reviews.\r\nCollaborate with a small team of engineers and designers to understand business requirements and user experience goals.\r\nProvide recommendations for continuous improvement.\r\nProvide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.\r\nTroubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software systems and application issues.\r\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.\r\n8 to 10 years of related software development experience.\r\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Extensive experience with Angular (or another modern front-end framework such as: React or Vue.js)\r\nExpert knowledge of Javascript, HTML, and CSS.\r\nExperience designing complex search interfaces.\r\nExperience in optimizing web applications for performance and usability.\r\nExperience with integrating with third part APIs.\r\nProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git\r\nExperience with Linux operating systems\r\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with SASS or LESS.\r\nHands-on experience working with NodeJS, MongoDB\r\nFamiliarity constructing ElasticSearch queries\r\nBenefits Leading Path is an award-winning Information Technology and Management Consulting firm focused on providing solutions in process, technology, and operations to our government and Fortune 500 clients.
