We are seeking a mission-driven engineer to drive technical excellence for the MQ-4C Triton, a high-altitude, long-endurance maritime ISR platform utilizing cutting-edge avionics and communication subsystems.In this role, you will bridge the gap between U.S. Navy and international allied airworthiness teams, ensuring this critical unmanned aviation platform remains mission-ready. You will leverage your expertise in NAVAIR systems engineering processes to integrate complex hardware and software solutions that support global maritime security.The Role Lead systems engineering and technical analysis for sophisticated avionics, navigation, and maritime ISR sensor subsystems on the MQ-4C Triton platform. Act as the primary technical liaison between U.S. Navy and Commonwealth of Australia airworthiness teams to facilitate international cooperative execution. Manage the full systems engineering lifecycle, coordinating engineering working groups (EWGs) and facilitating technical reviews to support development and operational testing. Evaluate system safety and integration by reviewing engineering artifacts, airworthiness documentation, and complex flight test data. Integrate engineering inputs into the Integrated Government Schedule (IGS) to ensure seamless delivery across production, sustainment, and fleet integration phases.What You'll Need 3 to 10+ years of Systems Engineering experience specifically supporting DoD aircraft or weapons systems (ISR platforms preferred). Proven expertise in the NAVAIR Systems Engineering Process and Airworthiness Qualification Plans (AQP). Strong technical background in the integration and testing of computer hardware, software, and advanced communication/sensor subsystems. Deep knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Military Standards, and DOD/NAVAIR directives and instructions. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university (Master’s degree is a significant plus). Active Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship (required due to program sensitivity).What's On Offer Competitive salary range of $77,571 - $155,142 based on experience and expertise.
