Proposal and Award Generalist - Post Award CoordinatorCollege of Health & Human Development Research OfficeJob OverviewThe College of Health & Human Development Research Office seeks a dynamic professional to join our team as a Proposal and Award Generalist – Post Award Coordinator. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, detailed environment involving complex awards.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the administration of our large award portfolio: manage funds, monitor balances, end dates, and review accounts for closeouts.Assist with budget realignments, projections, and spending plans.Respond to inquiries and solve problems related to awards.Coordinate subaward/subcontract paperwork.Serve as back-up for invoice monitoring.Depending on experience, assist with research salary distribution approvals.Serve as back-up for co-workers as needed.Preferred Skills and ExperienceExcellent organizational skills with a record of accuracy and attention to detail.Capability to work independently and in a team setting.Ability to multitask and respond professionally in challenging, deadline-bound environments.Prior experience with NIH policies and guidelines is beneficial.Knowledge of grant/contract procedures.Excellent communication skills for collaboration with Central offices such as Office of Sponsored Programs, Office of Research Protections, and Research Accounting.Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree (or prior relevant work experience in lieu of education). No required certifications.Salary & BenefitsSalary range: $46,400.00 – $67,300.00.
