SAC will possess the following qualifications and carry out the subsequent duties as follows:QualificationsCurrent Peer Support CertificationValid driver's license with good driving recordMinimum of 1 year working with the adult Mental Health/Substance Use population, preferably in a community settingResponsibilities· Assist clients with self-determination and decision-makingModel recovery values, attitudes, beliefs, and personal action to encourage wellnessTeach and promote self-advocacy and wellness managementProvide linkage to community resourcesMaintain and submit required documentation (treatment plans, WRAP, service notes, service authorization requests, etc.)Build professional relationships with community agencies and referral sources to establish and maintain Spring Life as a resource for individuals desiring peer support recoveryCollaborate with Qualified Professional, Licensed Professional and members in identifying interventions aimed at helping members reach their goals as outlined in the treatment planJob Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-timeSalary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourSchedule:10 hour shift4 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Kinston, NC 28501: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Application Question(s):Do you have a valid NC Peer Support Specialist Certification?Experience:Addiction counseling: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Willingness to travel:50% (Required)Work Location: In person
